We had the privilege of having Mary at our home for a family gathering. We teased her about the age she had achieved 92 yrs. and that "only the good the die young" She remarked that was what she was concerned about, She had a beautiful sense of humor and was truly loved by all.

I'm so sorry about Mary Schwartz' passing. She was a wonderful woman in so many ways... She was my daughters mother-in-law and was so loved and respected by all of our family. May she rest in peace. God bless

Thoughts about Mrs. Schwartz include a soft, gentle voice that masked a steely determination and commitment, conveyed with grace and humor. From Trinity College days to early Colesville, St. Bernadette carpools, upstart and development of St. John the Baptist parish and more, she and her family shared many experiences with the d'Epagniers. It was an honor to know her and have her as another positive role model in our lives.

I will always have a special place in my heart for Mary Schwartz. She was an extraordinary woman who took the time to really know those she encountered. I have years of happy memories associated with the Schwartz family.

Mary and Bob were parts of our lives ever since we moved to Silver Spring in 1963 (and Bob even earlier). Maria helped us with Francis and Christopher one 1968 summer month in Maine. We thank God for this friendship.

David and I send our condolences to the Schwartz family whose lives were so connected to our as we grew up together with wonderful parents, like your dear mother Mary. She was always so loving to me and I know what a good friend she was to my parents Alice and Joe Tumulty. We will hold her in the light. Patricia Tumulty Flaccus

Missing our Monday evening telephone conversations, Mom. Guess we'll just need to start doing it without the phone! Love always.
