Bob, Julie, Patti and Peggy,
I cannot tell you how sad I feel about the loss of your beloved wife and mother--and my friend. I am still in shock, as you must be. We just got back last night from Dublin, visiting Michael and Brian and their families and so are unable to be with you on this special day. California is sometimes too far from our friends!
We send much love and prayers. Michaela and Warren Donohue

Bob, Julie, Patti and Peggy:
Our own mom died just a few weeks ago, so we can imagine the loss you all are feeling now. Janie was indeed a beautiful, sparkling and quick-witted lady. She & Bob's friendshiop with our parents decades ago, with the Cana group, and Camp Maria. I got to know Janie through my friendship with Peggy at Visitation, and again later, as a parent of a child with disabilities, she was an interested and informative resource for me, and was always gracious and generous. My siblings join me in expressing our sympathy to all of you.

Dear Bob, Julie, Patti and Peggy,
I will always remember Janie as such a wonderful neighbor and friend at Americana Finnmark. She gave me such comfort with her smile and positive outlook on life especially when I was in labor with my son Maury. She and Bob both came to the hospital with us and was truly my surrogate mother at that time and during the rest of the time we lived at Finnmark. Her spirit will always be with me,

Dear Bob, Julie, Patti, and Peggy, I will always have fond memories of your mom, not just as one of my mom's dearest friends, but as a friend who was always smiling, caring, and welcoming, especially to children. I remember visiting your home many times, as a child, and having so much fun with all of you, in the pool. I also remember your mom as a very intelligent woman. As I am now studying in an auditory developmental neuroscience lab, some of those memories come up even more frequently. Please know my prayers are with you and all others who were close to Janie, especially my mom. Love and peace,
Suzie Peters
