MAURICE J. FLYNN (Age 96)
On Wednesday, September 28, 2016 of Bethesda, MD. Beloved husband of Dorothy L. Flynn; father of Michael T. Flynn (Barbara), Robert P. Flynn (Nancy), Maureen Flynn Golding (Steve) and Mary Alice Bond (R. Graham); brother of Alice Fleury; grandfather of Katie Coughlan, Matthew Flynn, Peter Flynn, Bethany Schreiber, Robert Kline, Danny Flynn, Rev. Thomas Flynn, Brenna Saunders and Patrick Bond. Also survived by 21 great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends may call at Church of the Little Flower, 5601 Massachusetts Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20816 on Monday, October 3 from 5 to 7 p.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 4 at 12 p.m. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. What a pleasure were times spent with this special man. I know my dad held him in the highest esteem, both professionally and personally, as did our whole family. Our thoughts are with Dorothy and the family. My hope is that he and dad are renewing an old friendship right now!

I have had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Flynn when I visit my Dad. Mr. Flynn was upbeat and always had a quick wit. I know my Dad will miss him my prayers go out to Mrs. Flynn and her family. God Bless

My deepest sympathies to the entire Flynn family. Mike, I am going out of town this afternoon for a business appointment tomorrow and will be unable to attend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. The Class of '38 is slipping away. I am so glad our fathers were able to attend that 75th reunion.
