NANCY CAROL CURTIS (Age 74)
Of Wheaton, MD passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016. Beloved mother of Teresa (Tim) Magruder, Kelly (Jeff) Spurgeon, Steven (Erika) Curtis and Stacy Rouse; dear sister of Donna, Mickey, Robert, Jerry and Kenny; cherished grandmother of Joseph, Ryan, Kristopher, CJ, Kody, Krista, Taylor, Alexa, Dylan, Colin and Diana and great-grandmother of Christopher, Ella, Kadyn, Landon and Logan. Also survived by her adored nieces and nephews; extended Presgraves family, as well as a host of additional loving family and treasured friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Merle Guiffre; sister, Diane O''Conor; former husband, Roger Curtis and long-time companion, Daniel Presgraves. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, September 1 at Montgomery United Methodist Church, 28325 Kemptown Road, Damascus, MD 20872 from 10 to 11 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. Graveside service at Parklawn Cemetery, Rockville, MD with reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sanctuary at Holy Cross, 3415 Greencastle Road, Burtonsville, MD 20866.

I have known Nancy for 20 years as a neighbor, friend and extended family member. It's going to be very difficult looking over and not seeing her there. Nancy was a wonderful, kind, thoughtful, giving person and so much more. she will be dearly and sadly missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her beautiful family, whom she treasured. may GOD guide you all through this very difficult time. She is one of GOD'S angel now. Condolences to Nancy's family from her longterm neighbor Elizabeth Walls and her family. We were blessed to watch the children grow and Nancy embrace and enjoy life. She willbe missed and fondly remembered. May the family be comforted that she now is with God and at sweet rest.
