NICHOLAS GEORGE Lungociu
Born in Glass Port, PA, November 30, 1920. Died Friday, December 23, 2016, Silver Spring MD.He was a devoted husband to Sylvia and loving father of Daniel (Marie), Linda (David), Rodica (Thomas), Cornell (Rene), Michael (Kimberly). He had eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was a tireless defender of freedom from communist oppression in Eastern Europe, a 32nd Degree Mason and Founder of Holy Cross Romanian Orthodox Church in Alexandria, VA. Services will held at St Marks, 7124 River Rd, Bethesda, MD 20817 on Tuesday December 27 at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Vatra Romanesc, Grass Lake, MI on Thursday December 29. May His Memory Be Eternal.
