Olympia came to my attention by being John's wife as well as by being such a fitness buff. We would sometimes work out at the NEA gym at the same time. She is part of my good and happy memories of my NEA work life. May she rest in peace.

I knew and loved John Rodgers, who worked in Employee Relations when I first joined the National Education Association (NEA). Later, Olympia came to work for the NEA, and I got to know her as a kind, gentle, and wonderful woman. I am so sorry to learn of her passing, and pray that John and the family will continue to be wrapped in the love she had for her family. My condolence to John and Debbie (who also worked at the NEA while I was there). May God's grace and mercy be with you always. Malinda Miles
