PAUL BELSCHNER Obituary
PAUL ERNEST BELSCHNER (Age 72)
On Sunday, March 22, 2015, of Kensington, MD. Beloved husband of Christine Belschner; father of Edward Paul (Rasa Zutautaite) Belschner and the late Deborah Belschner; grandfather of Nathan Belschner; brother of Pat Lightner. Paul was a veteran of the USAF's 931st Aircraft Control Warning Squadron which had been based in Thule Greenland during the 1960's. He was an active member in many local area clubs and organizations, Paul was full of life and had been enjoying retirement after 44 years of devoted service with Verizon telecommunications. He had spent the remaining years of his career assigned to Bethesda's NIH research center. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking) Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 31 at 11 a.m. Interment Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Crownsville, MD.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Condolences from the Chopmark Collectors Club (CCC). Mr. Belschner was a founding member of our club (the second member to join) and was active in expanding knowledge of chopmarked coins over the years. He will be missed.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Paul's passing. I am a retired
AT&T telecommunications tech and spent some time with Paul
working at NIH and then Bethesda Naval Hospital installing and maintaining special circuits. I'm out of the area and unable to attend the funeral arrangements. He and his wife are in my prayers.

Jane and I were to sad to hear of Paul's passing. We always enjoyed being with him. In the Md. TAMS meeting yesterday, we not only paid tribute to him, but sadly said how much we miss him already.
