PAUL H. MAGEE, JR. (Age 95)
On Wednesday, October 5, 2016 of Kensington, MD. Beloved husband of the late "Polly" Magee; father of Susan Magee, Polly Ann (Jay Renner) Magee and Paul H. Magee, III; grandfather of Paul Joseph Magee-Renner; brother of Bernadette McBride. He served as a Storekeeper 2nd Class in the US Navy during World War II. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Redeemer Church, Summit Ave. & Cable Drive, Kensington, MD on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Mr. Magee was my teacher at Montgomery Village Junior High School many years ago, and I will never forget his dedication to his students and profession. As a young teenager, I found him formidable but I ultimately learned a great deal from him. I hope that time has softened the blow of his passing, and that the knowledge of the many young people he taught and inspired continues to bring you comfort. He was truly one of a kind!

It was an honor and pleasure to work with Paul at Montgomery Village Junior High School..His subject, histry, was my second love after Geography, but I envied his vast knowledge of it. I will miss him.
