PHYLLIS CLEVELAND Obituary
PHYLLIS M. CLEVELAND
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born in Merrill, Wisconsin in 1928 and married Charles Cleveland in 1949. After living for a short time in Pennsylvania, the Cleveland's moved to Chevy Chase, MD. Phyllis is survived by two daughters, Mary Beth (Ron), Kathryn (John) and three sons, John (Betsy), David (Maria) and Paul (Holly); 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, David and James Brandt. Phyllis worked with "The Little Group" nursery school, at both Blessed Sacrament and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Churches for 40 years. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Monday, April 24, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament, 5949 Western Ave. NW, Washington, DC, on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Sincere condolences to the Cleveland Family. Chuck and Phyllis were our friends from PMA--and later parents of St. John's CHS where Tom and Paul were classmates. I am sorry that I cannot attend the funeral Mass, but will join in prayer at St. E's. Phyllis was a lovely, caring friend.
