Ah, the stories he could tell! I had the honor and pleasure of being on IBM's NASA National team in Bethesda with "RP" in the late 1980s. Those were great days and fun times! Richard was our bon vivant; he always had a merry twinkle in his eye and the perfect comment or quip. He loved life and lived it well, and loved his family even more! I felt like I knew you all-- he was so proud of you! Thanks for sharing your dad-- he was a wonderful friend and blessing to many!

My deepest heartfelt condolences to Jean, Rick and Suz.
Richard Podrasky was my Uncle and one of the finest men I've ever known. He was a second father to me and I miss him already.
Be free in heaven seated next to Almighty God!
Love your niece

I will always remember Richard. We worked together at IBM. One day he talked me into coming to his house during lunch to see a kitten he had found and saved the night before. It was really a ragged looking thing, but Richard had me pegged. After convincing me to take it home (probably knowing full well that my 6 year old daughter would fall in love with it) for one night only. Well we had that cat for about 10 years. I always enjoyed Richard, he looked at the bright side of things and was so kind and patient. I will never forget you and always think of you fondly and with a smile for the kitten "trick".

Dear Family, I am so sorry to hear of Richard's passing. We worked in the same building at IBM and our paths crossed periodically. He was a friendly and fun colleague who always brought a smile to my face. May God comfort you with His love, presence and comfort as you grieve his passing, knowing he is now with His God.

So sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of working with your dad at NASA Goddard. He was a delight to work with and contributed significantly to the success of our team. I especially enjoyed conversations with him about your exploits. He just basked with pride whenever talking about you!

Rick, Jean and Suz, we are so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He was a great man. We have such fond memories of family get-togethers at your parents' house, not to mention all the fun times with Glenwood swimming. Our thoughts are with you and your families.
