RUSSEL PETER IUCULANO (Age 65)
On Sunday, June 18, 2017, of Gaithersburg, MD. Beloved husband of Nan Iuculano; loving father of Brad Peter (Shannon Corbey) Iuculano and Timothy Steven (Shawn Hannon) Iuculano; devoted grandfather of Kylie Marie, Olivia Grace and Mason Russel Iuculano; brother of Peter (Terri) Iuculano. Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews. Additionally he leaves behind a devoted and loving community of friends and colleagues. Russ's distinguished career included Senior Council representing the life insurance industry for 17 years and an additional 15 years representing a leading financial service company and trade association. He culminated his career with eight years as Executive Director of North American Securities Administrators Association. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Friday, June 23 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Norbeck & Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD, on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Foundation, in honor of Dr. Carol Miller, 900 Caton Avenue, MB 123, Baltimore, MD, 21229. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

So sorry to just learn of this. To the Iuculano family - Russ helped me get my foot in the door on Capitol Hill in the early 90s. Even though I left DC and politics nearly 20 years ago, his kindness and concern for someone just starting out made a lasting impression on me. God bless your family, and may his memory be eternal.

I just heard last night about Russ and was shocked. For some reason I did not get the word till late so my apologies for just now sending my sincere sympathies. He was a true friend and mentor to me during our CUA days and I still have many memories of he and you Nan from years past.

We remember when you moved into your home that bordered ours. It always brought us joy to see Russel and you and the boys playing in the yard. How blessed we were to have you there. Nan: I thank God for the privilege of having a small part in
your lives....from family get-togethers to teaching Russ at Don Bosco Prep to assisting him in transitioning to CU to officiating at your marriage. What a blessing it has been for me personally! Now God gives me the greatest privilege of accompanying Russ with my prayers as God welcomes him to his eternal home of joy and peace for which he was created and destined through the mercy and love of God.
May he always continue to enrich your earthly life and the lives of your children and grand-children through the memories he leaves but especially through his continual prayers for your and their eternal well-being. As a true father, Russ has and will always love his family unto eternity. For this we are humbly and joyfully grateful in the Holy Spirit.

As an RN at St Agnes I came to know Russ. Integrity, dignity, respect, courage and compassion. These are the words I would use to describe this man. His legacy lives on through his family and I feel as though I know them from the stories he shared with me. Rest In Peace my friend.

I smile remembering Russ deferentially yet deftly managing relationships with members of Congress, SEC Commissioners, NASAA members. Russ gave me the foundation, direction and confidence to rise through the Blue Sky ranks.. Still resonant is his pride and love for Nan and his sons and NY Giants, and the sincere interest he expressed in my family and our Steelers. He always will be my model executive director and Dad. I miss him deeply.
