I learned of Sandra's passing very belatedly as I'd relocated to my country Singapore. Sandra was my landlady in Rockville for over 3 years and she became a special friend. I love her buoyant spirit, amazing generosity of heart, the way she always wanted to immerse me in the American way of life, her laughter and energy, strengtth of character, principles, intelligence, stories of her deep bonds with Vietnam, love for God and souls, and how much she valued her family and friends. So many memories! All those conversations from the heart! She would also cook, Vietnamese pho and all kinds of good eats. She told me how she would drink vanilla milk and so I'd put a couple of drops of vanilla in my flat white. I was fully privileged to share her lovely home and her life for a season.

I have known Sandra since we were like 5 years old and it just breaks my heart. I continue to remember all of our childhood games and pranks. Sandy use to always get on Lisa and I in the basement of their home. Always the big sister even though she and I were the same age. She was a nurturing, loving beautiful strong woman who always wanted the best for everyone. I can remember the many times playing birdie in the front yard, digging out back and so much more. Sandy, God needed you because he has a greater plan for you. I miss you so much and I have so many fond memories of being childhood friends. Although we were not real sisters I always felt as though we were. I love and miss you soo! God Bless! To the Nguyen family that treated me like family I send my love and condolences. Love, Saprena

May the Lord bless your tender heart. May God give patience to your family. May your soul rest in peace forever.

I have come to know Sandra for a brief period of time - only a few times over the last 4-5 months. Sandra was a very soft spoken, patient, intelligent and charming lady! Within a few weeks' time, she provided a very deep and insightful framework of organizational change management for our project. I loved listening to her stories of successful engagements with various multi-national companies across USA. I was so fortunate to experience her high level professional acumen, gentle and caring personality, and her interest in life to help others. I will remember Sandra for a very long time and perhaps, quite more than many others whom I knew for longer duration of time.

With deepest sympathies and Best Regards. ~Sandip.
