Lady SARA LOU CARTER
On Friday, December 16, 2016, Lady Sara Lou Carter of Bethesda, Maryland, died peacefully at the age of 93. Born in Wilkesboro, North Carolina on July 4, 1923, to proud parents James and Esther Harris, Sara Lou worked tirelessly as a leading model, entertainer, educator and humanitarian. A service will be held on Thursday, December 29 at 11 a.m., at the Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, 7001 Connecticut Avenue, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Interment at Gate of Heaven cemetery. Sara Lou is survived by her three children, as well as several grandchildren and close relatives. We miss you mom! May your beautiful spirit rest in peace.
