SHAWN GANGLOFF Obituary

SHAWN RICHARD GANGLOFF
Shawn Richard Gangloff of Olney, Maryland was granted his angel wings on August 31, 2014 following a car accident the day before. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Shawn had touched throughout his short, yet memorable and full life. To all of us Shawn's life was far too short, but he lived his life to the fullest. He touched many by always having a smile and by sharing his positive and loving spirit. He is survived by his loving parents, Rick and Allison Gangloff, his beloved brother Brett, grandparents, Bill and Elaine Gangloff and Jim and Mary Mooney, uncles, Bill (Lynn) Gangloff, Jr. and Ed (Irene) Gangloff, Jay Mooney and Chris (Yu) Mooney, cousins, Robert Gangloff, Trevor Mooney, Brianna Mooney, Hana Mooney and a host of other relatives and friends. Shawn was born in Washington, DC on September 24, 1998, attended Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, MD. He was an outstanding athlete (lacrosse) and artist. Shawn was wonderful, kind, loving, talented, and funny. He was fortunate to have so many friends. He will always be missed and remembered for his love of life. Donations can be made to the Alex Popeck Never Back Down Foundation or the Sherwood High School Warrior Club.  Relatives and friends may call at St. Peter's Church, 2900 Sandy Spring Road, Olney, MD, Monday, September 8, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 9, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Private Interment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

I offer my heartfelt condolences. It always seem too soon at any age, but especially for one so young because you miss your wonderful, love one. May, you find comfort with family & friends as well as having so many, many happy memories to fill your hearts forever. May it bring you comfort to remember there are no sorrows God can not heal.(Psalms 55:22)
