So many years ago, I started a job at the National Park Service and Steve was so welcoming to me. We both had offices in a trailer next to the headquarters building. We were a small group sharing the trailer, and Steve was one of the first coworkers I considered a friend. Steve truly loved his family and the National Park Service. I cherish the memories I have of Steve and the time we worked together.

Maureen - Steve's impact is felt in a generation of girls from Bethesda. As the first coach for most girls, he taught them teamwork, cooperation and the love of soccer. He wil live on in their stories of learning to play soccer. You and your girls are in our thoughts and prayers.
