STEPHEN R. BURKE (Age 52)
On Tuesday, September 22, 2015 of Fredericksburg, VA. Beloved son of the late Bernard and the late Joan Burke; brother of Christopher (Susan) Burke, the late Michael (Catherine) Burke, Molly (the late Dennis) Burdette and the late Bernard Burke, Jr.; uncle of Dennis, Steven (Jessica) and Robert (Molly) Burdette; great-uncle of James Burdette. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, Norbeck and Muncaster Mill Roads, Rockville, MD on Monday, September 28 at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I remember my Brother in law wanted to go to the March for life on that January it was 8° it was Freezing cold but we went. And that was worth going even if it was Freezing cold. He wanted to go. And he said thank you. It was something he would remember Doing.

I was so saddened by the news of the passing of Steve, I enjoyed caring for him and our many talks and banters. Many prayers for his family during this difficult time. He will be sorely missed.

I was so saddened to hear of the death of my old friend from Christendom College and former room mate, Steve Burke. He was a fine man, a devout Catholic, a loyal son of the Church.
I will always remember his kindness and care for others. He would always go out of his way to make sure others were doing alright. And, he would surely make you laugh.
He will be missed!
May his soul and all the souls of the Faithful Departed through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
