On Wednesday, August 24, 2016, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Patricia Lewis; father of Katherine, Michael (Stephanie), Fr. Patrick Lewis and Mary (Matthew) Piering. Grandfather of Stephen, Peter and Elizabeth Lewis. Brother of Thomas (Marcia), William (Laurie) and Bobbi Lewis. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Sunday, August 28, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Andrew Apostle Church, Kemp Mill Road and Arcola Ave., Silver Spring, MD, on Monday, August 29, at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pat, I was so sad to hear of Steve's death today(Sep 2).Peggy Veith told me when we were both picking up our grandchildren from school in Owings MD.

I remember Steve from way back in school truly one of the nicest guys always a smile. Easy-going, genuine, friendly and warm. Someone who made you feel comfortable, even a shy girl like me.
