SUSAN SMITH BOONE (Age 65)
Of Mathews, VA, died peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her parents Harry and Tecla Smith. Loving mother of Erika Boone, Michelle Boone (Mike) Noyes, Danielle Boone (Seth) Benhard. Grandmother of Quinn, Grant, Tess, Chase, Beau, Kate and Hals. Sister of Gloria Bosley and the late Harriet Fisher. Also survived by many extended family and friends. Visitation will be at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9705 Summit Ave., Kensington, MD 20895 on Thursday, May 25, 2017, beginning at 12 Noon, where Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Private interment in Mathews County, VA at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to LUNGevity Foundation, 228 South Wabash Avenue, Suite 700, Chicago, Illinois 60604. www.lungevity.orgwww.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Suzi was a dear friend who always seemed to be more concerned with the well being of others than herself. Her sweet smile, cheerful laugh, and her "Italian Mama" personality only made you love her more. We shared a special friendship over the years and I will carry these fond memories in my heart forever. Special hugs and prayers for Gloria, her daughters, and the family as they go through this difficult time. You will be missed "Boo Boo".

Suzi was loved by all, because she gave such love to everyone else❣ She was also blessed with a wonderful family, I only knew them through pictures and our endless talks about our children and grandchildren! I pray you have strength during this very sad time. We all have great memories of her, and I know I am thankful to have had her in my life. RIP lovely Suzi..already miss you

I may have not known Suzi as long as others, but was so touched by her generosity and love for those around her. One of my favorite memories in this world is from our stays at Beachland. We had wonderful visits in late summer...fresh Yellowfin Tuna, Corn on the cob, and other summer veggies all grilled up for the clan. Fresh crabs from the dock...wonderful company and hospitality. Had the pleasure of taking Suzi, Gloria, and Jaynie out into the Chesapeake on Bob's boat and putting them on some fish. Their smiles from that weekend will stay etched in my mind and heart forever. Prayers to the entire family and all the friends Suzi touched throughout her life. God recalled another angel this week.....

I am so thankful for this kind, loving woman who raised three beautiful children, who have been such a blessing in my life. Raising identical twins - and then adding a third girl to the mix could not have been easy. The women they are today is a true testament to Suzi. I am very very sad.

There was a time when I saw Suzi and her young family frequently. Although we had lost touch, I have nothing but the most wonderful memories. She was loving, generous, beautiful and much more. I am very sorry for the family and friends that must endure the loss.

My sincere condolences to Susie's family during this difficult time. God needed another Angel and called Susie home. Susie was a wonderful, loving and caring person and she will be missed dearly by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her as she was full of love with a such big heart. I am so sorry to hear about Susie's passing. She was the realtor at 4 Seasons at St. Margarets when we bought our condo, and was a friend throughout her residence here. May she rest in peace.
