Not sure what to say?

Miss you, Suzannah. It didn't seem real when I heard the news. After you moved to D.C., we talked less frequently, but you were always there when I needed a friend, ready and willing to discuss just about anything. I truly miss you. You had a warm heart, a contagious laugh, a mischievous smile, and a sharp mind. You still live in my heart. Peace.

...just a prayer from a friend who was blessed to share time and a few special moments with her. It is hard to believe she has gone so soon.

Suzannah was always such a sweet and incredibly smart person. Suzannah was willing to be her own person and was quite special in what she accomplished while on this earth. She will be missed greatly!

I was Suzannah's supervisor when she worked at the Department of Homeland Security. She was very intelligent and a diligent worker, and yet was also a fragile flower. I enjoyed working with her, and will miss her. May God grant her family the peace that passes all understanding as they work through this difficult time.

Earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal. Suzannah, I will miss your beautiful smile. The one thing I will always remember about you is, when you would be in your office playing the air guitar and walking around to the music. I would just smile at you and you would keep playing. RIP my friend!

I am so sorry to hear baout Suzannnah's passing. As a classmate of hers at the LBJ School, I was proud to call her my friend. She always possessed a sharp wit, a deliberate attitude of getting things done and a moral compass -a deep sense of rigt and wrong. I will miss her terribly and my wishes and blessings are with you at this incredibly painful time.

My wife and I had known Suzannah since I worked with her in 2005 in DC and while my working relationship was short as I moved on, we remained good friends thereafter. We enjoyed many outings and get togethers with her in the DC area. She was always a delight to be with. She had a great sense of humor while having a profound, studious, and dedicated seriousness to her work and the issues she cared about deeply. We'll also smilingly remember her quirks, such as being strangely phobic of stopping DC metro trains or her obsessive dedication to CSPAN Book Notes. It was an honor for us to be part of her life and we know that she will live on in happy memories of those whose lives she touched.

Suzannah was a brilliant, witty, engaging, and amazing woman and professional. Underneath the polished demeanor was a heart of gold, and a deeply spiritual person. She is a long-time family friend, and I find comfort knowing that she is with my precious mother, who will hold her --- together they will experience joy and peace. God bless you sweet Suzannah, we will miss you always, but never forget you.

I am deeply saddened to hear of Suzannah's passing. During our time at LBJ, I truly enjoyed her company inside and outside the classroom. When we weren't exchanging ideas or discussing projects, we often lunched and laughed together. She had a bright inquisitive mind, was very kind, and had an incredible sense of humor. She was all around a beautiful soul. My sincerest sympathies to her family, friends, and the rest of the LBJ community touched by her loss.

I was so very sad to hear about Suzannah's passing. I had the privilege of being one of her classmates at the LBJ School, and I remember with fondness her intellect, ample bon mots, and dry sense of humor that never ceased to entertain us. So very sorry to hear about Suzanne. I had the pleasure of being her classmate at the LBJ School and worked with her on a few projects. She was incredibly smart and funny. And definitely spoke her mind. I remember that she always had to leave class immediately to care for that little chihuahua she liked to complain about but loved so much. She will be missed by her LBJ colleagues.

I can't express how saddened I am to hear of Suzannah's passing. Suzannah was one of my dearest friends in graduate school and all of us in the LBJ community feel the pain of her loss. She was such a beautiful woman, but it was her sense of humor and brilliant mind that truly set her apart as a person. Every memory I have of Suzannah brings a smile to my face and I pray that your memories bring you strength in this difficult time. I am so very sorry for your loss.

Glenn and Cyndi,

Although we only had the pleasure of meeting Suzannah once early in her life, at that time we remarked about how special she was. It is our loss to not know her in her adult life. We are so very sorry with your loss and know words are a poor substitute for her presence. We extend the most sincere condolences to you, her father and siblings.

Sincerely,

Ken and Sandy and our family

Dr. Boris:

Bill and I are so saddened by the news of your daughter's passing. She was just 1 year older than our twins, Steven and Michael. Steven had a life threatening head injury at 6 and you were our faithful and cherished Peditrician. You recommended Dr. Sedler for the urgent surgical procedure and I want you to know our precious little boy is 37 years old today married with 2 darling little girls of his own. He and his twin are both 6 ft 5 inches of pure firefighter/paramedic, both in the Ft Worth area. Perhaps knowing that he, your patient Steven, sent me the news of your daughter will somehow provide a measure of comfort in your loss. Praying for you in the difficult times ahead. Thank you for all you have done for so many.............Bill and Sandie Ford

Due to the nature of her work, many of us will never know the kind of commitment Suzannah had to public service. Her wit and intellect made her such an interesting and alluring person. I am lucky to have been her neighbor and classmate at the LBJ School. And we are all blessed by her positive influence in her time with us. Prayers for her family's peace and comfort.

I hadn't seen Suzie in so many years, but some of my fondest childhood memories are from 6th grade. We had an amazing group of friends and Suzie was a part of that. From slumber parties, to putt-putt, to OM after school, and even talent show dances. We had a blast together. Rest in peace Suzie. My heart and prayers go out to the family.

I am so very, very sorry for this tragedy. There are no words sufficient enough to comfort parents who have lost a child. Perhaps you can take the lead of people in the Jewish faith, who don't really believe in death, that is, heaven and hell. They believe the deceased lives on in their hearts, continuing to guide and offer inspiration. Suzannah will be with you always. Much love to you, Cyndi, from one mother to another.
