THEODORA C. KOUTRIS (Age 71)
On Saturday, April 4, 2015, of Kensington, MD. Beloved wife for 50 years of Vasilios "Bill" Koutris; mother of Louis Koutris (Nicole Nowak) and Charles Koutris; grandmother of Ryan Beane, Callia, Elliana and Zander Koutris. Also survived by brother-in-law, Spiro Koutris and other loving family and friends. She obtained her Master's Degree at the University of Maryland and became a licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychoanalyst for Montgomery County Crisis Center and the Abused Persons Department. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Tuesday, April 7, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service at Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 36th St and Massachusetts Ave, NW, Washington, DC, on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your most beautiful wife and mother. I remember Dora singing in the choir at St. George Greek Orthodox Church as a young woman. Her smile was infectious and she was a lovely person inside and out and will be so missed. Memory eternal.

To the Koutris family.
I worked with Dora for years at the Crisis Center and Abused Persons Program. She was a loving, funny, kind and generous friend and therapist. I'll never forget after she was diagnosed how she would bounce into our offices at lunchtime with the invitation, "Come and eat and tell me something funny!" She always looked on the bright side. And how she loved her family! I feel very blessed to have known her.

We have lost a beautiful, caring friend. Dora has touched so many lives, and we were truly blessed to be amomg them. "The only pain she ever caused, was leaving us". I will always remember the times you, Mary & I went to Cafe' Monet for latte's and we'd laugh and gossip and just be girls. We'd laugh and think about Fraser & Niles at Cafe Nervosa. Your love of dogs had us in conversation for hours about our pets. Your sweetness and kindness will be missed by all.
