Robert Eugene England (Age 88)
On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of the late Martha Trytten England; father of Lynn (Bob) England Murphy and Carol England; grandfather of Kyle (Jenn), Erin, and Kelly Murphy; great-grandfather of Lilah and Emma Murphy. As W3JCN, he was a proud amateur radio operator. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Sunday, June 25, from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m. at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 9100 Colesville Road, Silver Spring, MD, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm. Interment Parklawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

Carol, Lynn and Bob, Kelly and the rest of the England family - my thoughts are with you at this difficult time while I reflect on the nearly 50 years of friendship between our families. May the lifetime of wonderful memories of your father (and grandfather) comfort you at this sad time. Childhood memories of Girl Scout, school and St. Luke activities, trips to Deep Creek Lake and more recent outings come to mind as I remember your father, his kindness and his radio voice. Much love to all the family.
