Victoria Thompson (Age 69) (nee Maria Victoria Garcia-Lillo)
Former Teacher in Montgomery County Schools, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, of Silver Spring, MD, formerly of Barcelona, Spain. Beloved wife of the late Richard Eugene Thompson, LTC USA (Ret.); mother of Christian Eugene Thompson and James Edward Thompson (Rita Abi Khalil-Thompson); sister of Pilar Ruiz-Cuevas and the late Arturo Garcia-Lillo; grandmother of Mia Gabriella and Sila Isabella Thompson. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Relatives and friends may attend a Graveside Service at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 13801 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. Everyone attending, please meet at cemetery office at 1:15 p.m. Contributions in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice. www.COLLINSFUNERALHOME.com

I remember Victoria as a respected, kind and very capable colleague and friend when we taught together back in the 1980s. We lost track of each other many years ago as our careers moved in different directions. I send to her family my deepest and most sincere condolences. May she rest in peace.
