I am still mourning the loss of my Sister Ginny. Saturday April 13th, 2013 in the very early hours of the morning, the Good Lord brought my Sister Ginny home. She was reunited with me Mum & Dad, many several other family members and friends, and beloved family pets which crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and came running to greet her lovingly.
Ginny's long and very fiercely fought battle with cancer was very challenging. Our whole family in addition to so several many dear friends will miss her greatly. Ginny was the second Mom to so many of her kids friends, and always happy to provide food, shelter, life lessons advise and any assistance which may be needed. A quality learned from our Mum & Dad, just as her husband Edwin (Win) learned from his own family. Together both Win and Ginny were Angels on Earth volunteering and contributing time, effort and money to several important causes. The tradition will continue. I guess that the "Best Mum In The World" torch passed from me Mum to Ginny many decades ago.
While I will miss my Sister Ginny, her impression, advice and influence on the world around all of us will remain a standard in helping all those who knew her. She saved / rescued me more times then I can count on one hand in several sticky situations. Many others than me also. Ginny remains so vivid and vibrant in my memory. Just as Mum & Dad are. Thanks for reading. Say a prayer for yours and light a candle. Another Angel has been born. Saint Virginia.
