On Tuesday, August 19, 2014, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Dr. Dorothy Walker-Jones; father of Stephen W. Jones (Almira) and Ronald W. Jones (Delvine); grandfather of Nicole and Mariah, and Mason and Ashlee; brother of Elaine Wilson and Patricia Wade; brother-in-law of Patricia Jones and Louis Walker; uncle of Donna, Gary, Mark and Wayne; cousin of Barbara Wells and her sons Anthony, Darrell and Gerald. Also survived by a host of extended family including Franseca, Leslie, Andrea, Jaqueline, Lisa and Katrina. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), on Monday, August 25, from 7 to 9 p.m. and at Silver Spring United Methodist Church, 8900 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring, MD 20910 on Tuesday, August 26 from 10 to 11 a.m. where funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
