My heartfelt condolences go out to the entire Bridegum family. I have many great childhood memories playing soccer due to Mr. Bridegum's selflessness. He spent many hours, year after year, supporting a bunch of us kids running around having fun. I often thought of him as I coached my two sons playing soccer. He was truly kind and an excellent role model.

I had the pleasure of playing for Bill for many years. He truly stood out as a man of great compassion, leadership and a true role model to all of us kids. I am saddened by his passing but it serves to remind me of the type of man, coach and mentor I should strive to be. Thank you Bill and all of the Bridegums for your very important and positive influence on my life.

Bill & I were fellow commodores in 2000. He led Almas through a successful year and winner of the coveted Burroughs trophy. I was commodore of Kena that same year. Over these past 16 years I have often had the pleasure of Bill and Alma Jean's company. They have touched the lives of many in a most positive way.
