WILLIAM JAMES WEITHMAN (Age 57)
On Sunday, December 13, 2015 of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Judith Weithman; father of Rob (Cassie), Greg, Melissa, Michael, and Christine; brother of Marty Weithman, Judy Kehres, and Jenny (David) Butt; uncle of Kelly, Luke, and Justin Horner and David and Christopher Butt. Also survived by two brother-in-laws, Rick, and Gerry (Rae) Horner. Relatives and friends may call at St. John the Baptist Church, 12319 New Hampshire Avenue, Silver Spring, MD, Friday, December 18 from 5 to 8 p.m.; where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. My heart was saddened deeply when I heard of Bill's passing. Although our paths in life carried us apart for many years, I always cherished the memories that we made and shared together. My sincere condolences to Bill's family and close friends. Like Jeff, I'm delighted that I was able to met Bill during the reunion in 2013. That brought back a lot of great memories of our experiences together at Fort Devens and in Augsburg. Bill was an awesome guy and I know he'll be missed by everyone who knew him.

I did not have the honor of meeting Bill's family but remember the many conversations of how proud he was of all of them. He was as comfortable discussing the latest event as with how to improve or streamline our support services. He was a Mission focused professional with a high degree of integrity. He was instrumental in establishing first class support systems throughout the world. We will miss him greatly.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bill was a great guy and just glad that I was able to talk to him at the Army reunion in 2013. He was a class act. My son was born in Dec 1978 in Augsburg while we were all stationed there. Bill and another soldier bought my son a 3 foot stuffed St Bernard and brought it to our apartment. Spoke volumes to us about the kind of person he was. RIP Bill. Thoughts and prayers for his family. Be strong for each other.
