William and I shared a lot of happy memories, from when we were kids growing up in Washington, D.C., to just a month ago when I visited him in the Holy Cross rehab center. As kids, family gatherings, especially Christmas, were full of laughter and surprises as we awaited the gifts in the "grab" bag! In later years when William was working at the Department of Agriculture, my sister and I would occasionally meet him for lunch, sharing stories about his "Match Club"
trips, which he really enjoyed. For the last several years we once again started our Christmas gatherings and
William enjoyed our "Mrs. Right" game so much he nearly fell off his chair with laughter. That's how I will remember William---pleasant, kind, and a great cousin!
