WILLIAM ROBERT BELEW, JR. (Age 84)
On Sunday, August 2, 2015, of Germantown, MD. Beloved husband of the late Lillian T. Belew; father of William R (Karen) Belew, Christina (Carl Voelker) Belew, and Rosemary (Michael) Pastore; grandfather of Christine (Wayne) Manion and Elizabeth (Wesley) Sheeley; great grandfather of Evelyn Sheeley. He is also survived by his wife's nephew, Theodore Theophilos. Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, Friday, August 7, 2015, from 10 to 11 a.m. where Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. I had the fortune to work with Bill in his post retirement part-time stage after years as a successful auto executive. Bill was instantly beloved for his talents and direct down to Earth wisdom. I count myself among the many fortunate souls to have been touched by such a fine man.

I remember many fun times with "Nouna Lil" and Uncle Bill. I was so sorry to hear the news. My husband George enjoyed Bill very much as well. We will keep many fond memories of him.

We'll miss you Billy-Bob, mainly when you lived on 5th St. and us Toney Boys lived around the corner on Rouse St. You use to drag Larry Hope around and your brother Jim would drag me around getting me in trouble.
