I remember meeting Barb for the first time through the SHARE of South Eastern Wi Program working with Ruth Anklam and Rosie Loser and so many more of the 50 or so volunteers once a month to help so many of those in need of food at lower costs. I remember her startig out as an assistant coordinator, then order taker and she was great with numbers adding up the dollar amounts and then moving onto setting up the breakfast and making sure everyone had enough coffee, food and good spirits among us to keep us going because we did start so ever so early at 4:30 a.m. I had the joy of hearing stories about her children and grandchildren and for me I couldn't tell you if they were her great grandchildren or her great grandchildren. I will miss her smile, her goofy crazy laugh going to her house with boxes and loading her car for her. We all felt so bad whenever she was not there to greet us there on those saturday mornings, we looked forward to her coming. We sent her many a cards and I even visited her when she was ill. I spent 16 years with SHARE and Barb and I will always keep her close to my heart and she will always be greatly missed by even those of us whom didn't even know of her passing. So here's to You Barb, we/us from the SHARE family will all miss you dearly even though we don't have SHARE anymore as of last year.
I am very sorry for your loss. Your mother was an extraordinary woman with a great sense of humor and a passion for life. I will never forget her and another resident dressing as clowns for Halloween for the grade school trick or treaters that were coming through. she will be missed

I'm sending you my sympathy, prayers and hugs on your Moms passing. I am remembering meeting and getting to know Barb at the Rennes. We sure had some fun at mealtime, craft-making, bingo, happy-hour and of course the "Farkle" marathons! Then as "roommates", discovering a connection to her brother Norbert(?) and his family from my growing up and living in Marathon most of my life. (It really is a small world!) Share your many memories and LAUGH during this sad and difficult time. It will help make the healing easier and the heart lighter. Barb will be missed by the many lives she touched.
Barb had the best sense of humor ever. She put a smile on every face she came in contact with and for some a down right belly laugh on a daily basis. We feel so blessed to have gotten to know and care for this wonderful woman. Sincere sympathy to the family we can see how her loss will leave a huge void. She is with God now no longer in pain. We will miss you our friend. RIP
