I am so sorry to about the passing of your dad. He was a very special man and we all loved him for being that man.
It is amazing how often I think of the time I lived in Wausau. When that happens your dad is there.
I will miss him.
Brian & Karen Wellsfry
Our deepest sympathies to all on the passing of Uncle Harold. We so enjoyed his stories and humor. We will have a Mass celebrated in his honor by our uncle. Fr. Werner Wolf in the next few weeks. Unfortunately, we are not able to attend the service, but have your families in our thoughts and prayers. Milt, Linda & Willy Luka
To all the daughters, we know he has been in good hands the past few years. I truly treasured our phone conversations even though you had to relay my words to him because of his hearing. He was instrumental in getting Reggie and me transferred to Dallas in 1954 and then in helping us find our first GI home (with only $300.00 down and $69a month) only two blocks from his in Casa View. He also was instrumental in getting me in enrolled inCPCU and encouraging me to complete the course.
I recall with pleasure visiting in his office in Home Office every time I had a chance to come to Wausau on business.
Our visit in Sun West with he and Betty aho haad to feel my face contours and said yes this is you Mel. How Precious are the Memories. Reggie and Mel Davison
Rus and I loved everything about Harold (as well as his precious wife Betty). He was a man of integrity with a ready smile for everyone and such a sweet spirit about him. He was a great friend to my parents, Russ and Dorothea Ross. I can only imagine the wonderful welcome he received in heaven. We can't be sorry for Harold, but surely send our love and sympathy to all his family.
Harold was one of the kindest men you would ever meet. Our memories of him and Betty will always warm our hearts. Our sympathy for all of his daughters, siblings and grandchildren. The loss is great.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.
My condolences to all of Harold's extended family. In a quiet, genteel way he was one of the leaders of Wausau Insurance that I looked up to with admiration and respect.
