As a neighbor to Bill and family growing up, I was a typical teenager - not having much concern for neighbors I guess. But in later and especially recent years I had many opportunities to talk with and get to know Bill better. I especially looked forward to the spring & fall yard raking at mom's. Bill would almost always come over and talk. Even though I was usually in a hurry to get the job done, I didn't mind at all leaning on my rake handle and spending some of that time that I should have spent years before. I don't know that I ever told him, but those were, and will be cherished memories for me. I will miss him. My deepest sympathy and prayer go out to the whole family.
We will miss Bill's many fun visits to the Mayor's Office. Our sincere sympathies to his family.
