Joseph Brew Obituary

Joseph John Brew, 63, of Honesdale, died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Regional Hospital of Scranton.

Born on February 15, 1952 in La Jolla, CA, he was the son of the late John Joseph and Catherine Dean Brew.

Joseph was a typesetter for General Electric and Western Electric in Manhattan, NY before retiring.

He was a former member of the Masons and was a talented artist, enjoying to draw and sketch.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Cotto of Springfield, NJ; his twin brother John Joseph Brew of Howard Beach, NY; his sisters Lorraine Brew of White Mills, Sally Quinones of Ridgewood, Queens and Mary Mauro of White Mills; grandchildren Justine and Andrew Cotto and Matthew Gonzalez; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son James Edward Brew.

As per his request, cremation was held.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 4th in Indian Orchard Cemetery at 1pm.
