As a proud coal miner's daughter, I feel the pain all of you are feeling. My dad was involved in a mining accident in 1980. He survived, but his best friend next to him did not. I thank God everyday for his survival. He retired this past Jan. after almost (40)yrs. in the mines. MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS ARE WITH ALL OF YOU. Find comfort in knowing your loved one's are in a better place & you will be united again one day in heaven. Your miners are now your guardian angels, watching you from above. PEACE BE WITH YOU ALL.

Your families are very strong and supportive of each other. You have the strenght to pick up the pieces and carry on, which leaves a short time to grieve. You have a strong and supportive community to lean on. This country feels your pain and I am sending my prayers. May the Lord be with you...Amen.
