My deepest sympathies to Sallie's family. I only met her once when she came to Olympia for her sister-in-law Lynn's funeral. I am Lynn's daughter-in-law. Sallie recorded two songs for my husband and I's wedding. She told me later she badly twisted her ankle getting out of the cab that day and was in pain while making the tape. I still have the tape. Although infrequent we kept in touch over the phone. I so enjoyed talking with her and will miss our talks.
Dear Michael, Chris, and HRV...I am so sorry about the loss of Sallie...my thoughts are with you.

My deepest sympathies for her family's loss. Having known her for more than 25 years, I can only say that the beautiful actress and opera singer was always present in the room, no matter where she went...
Chris, Michael and family - I will remember Sallie not only for her vocal talent & vocal coaching abilities but the way she told the stories of her life, her smile and laughter. May you find comfort in your memories of her. She was a special lady who has earned her angel wings.
