Art was such a great mentor when I began the real estate career with Davis and Associates- knowledgeable and so willing to share it with others. He and Nancy were also neighbors in the Old Orchard subdivision and we loved to stop and talk and catch up as we walked the dogs down their street. Art was such a gentle man with a great sense of humor and a devoted husband to Nancy. He will be missed by those of us who were fortunate to call him a friend. Our prayers and sympathies.

To Nancy and Kristen I'm truly sorry for the loss of your amazing husband and father. I've had the true pleasure of knowing Mr.k and it was truly an honor to call him my friend. Good bless you all in this time of sorrow. Your all in my heart's and prayers. Love Amanda Barnard (Lane)

Art was fatherly to Bob, myself and our children. No one could tell a story or a joke any better than Art. We spent many enjoyable holidays with Nancy, Art and Kristi's family. Our sympathy, love and prayers go out to you, dear ones. We will always think of him fondly.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Kunkel family. Art was kind enough to hire me two summers to work at Quincy Building Materials when I was a student. I really enjoyed working for Art and Ray Campbell and thought the world of them. I'll never forget Art's "Popeye" forearms from years of cubing blocks. He was a great man. RIP, Art.
