Marie, You have my deepest sympathy. I have called and mailed a letter, but you must have moved. I had strep throat and was unable to make the service. You and Fred will always e very dear to me. I loved our time together and cannot imagine your life without him after all these years.
I struggled to find words to express my feelings and decided to send you a poem my daughter, Roni, wrote a few years ago. I pray it will give you some comfort and I also hope to hear from you in the near future.

A Top A High Mountain

I had a dream of a mountain high
Its cap disappeared into the sky.
Around its base, wild flowers grew;
How fresh the smell, when kissed by the dew.

A stream flowed past this mountain grey,
The sun struck its side near close of day.

Many climbed to see what was there,
Not one returned, no one could share.

So, I climbed the mountain and to my surprise
Was an awesome sight that put stars in my eyes.

More beautiful than eyes had ever seen
A sky of Azure and grass of green;
All were there who had gone
They danced in the meadow through a pearly door.

I joined them in their dance of glee and I'm not coming down.

I'll just wait for thee.

May God bless you and give you strength during this difficult time old friend.
