I am sorry to say goodbye to my good friend Gerald. I'll miss the mornings when breakfast at Hardee's brought us together in Quincy. We learned much fromand abouteach other over the years. He was humble and patient, a man of great faith and great love. Marge and his family were often the subjects of conversation. So was his Church. He greatly loved them both. Our faith reassures us that we will meet again. Condolences to his family and the many others who loved him.

Marj and family;

We wish you the deepest of sympathy in the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. I remember when Gerald was my Sunday School teacher back in the furnace room of the old church, and how much I hated it when he was put into the ministry, and would no longer be my Sunday School teacher. I really did not think that it was fair to take my teacher. May the Lord be your comfort and strength in knowing that he is no longer suffering the effects of his leukemia. Our love and prayers.
