A great man, he was wonderful with horses, especially Arabians, not just any cowboy can ride one. He was a mentor to me, I was probably a pest to him...lol. He was so laid back, so easy going, always polite. He taught me a lot about horses, he helped me buy Silver, my first horse, who was a Palomino Arabian mix that was given to Laurence to be sold for kill. He was so skinny and abused from his owners. I could see fire in Laurence's eyes every time he saw Silver, probably the hardest part of his job was seeing things like that. I'm pretty sure Laurence was proud of me for choosing him over the filly Laurence had offered me. He even helped me several times with Silver, putting his back shoes back on as Silver learned how to leverage them off with the fence wire. A lot of fond memories are owed to him. My sincerest condolences to the family. Wish Y'all had kept in touch after you left Warsaw. One of the true, last cowboys gone. RIP Laurence.
