Catharine D. "Cathy" Heather, 48, of Quincy, died Sunday, July 9, 2017, at her home.

Catharine was born Feb. 10, 1969, in Des Moines, Iowa, a daughter of Karl Judd and Patricia Smith. She married Robbie Heather. He survives.

She was a graduate of Keokuk High School. Cathy had been employed as an overhead crane operator for Griffin Wheel Company. She had also worked as a clerk for Cenex.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two children, Brooke D. Kite of Warrior, Ala., and Devin Kite of Warsaw; a stepson, Brandon Heather of Quincy; her mother, Patricia (Dean) Turley of Warrior, Ala.; her father, Karl Judd of Montrose, Iowa; her sister, Barbi Judd of Eden Prairie, Minn.; her brother, Lance Judd of Fort Madison, Iowa; and her grandson, Olyver S. Kite of Warrior, Ala.

SERVICES: 1 p.m. Thursday, July 13, at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home, with the Rev. Larry Wentzel conducting.

VISITATION: There will be no visitation; friends are invited to the service.

MEMORIALS: In care of Patricia Turley for the grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.
