Bruce and family,

I was sad to hear of the passing of you Dad and that I was unable to be there today in celebration of his life. I have very fond memories of your Dad as always being so happy with a great big smile. We had a lot of great conversations together, back when I use to visit in High School and when I was working (I use to deliver his airline tickets to him in Wilmington.) I know he will be sadly missed by all whom he has touch. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I am sure your Mom has welcomed him with open arms. God Bless

To Dick's kids. Dick was my first supervisor for 3 years while I was in Wilm. in the early 70's, and I admired his guideance and friendship. We both grew up in MO. and attended Univ. of MO. My wife and I visited with he and Kent this past April, and enjoyed the visit very much. One of my fondest memories was Faye collecting large bags of hair from a large dog they had, and eventually spun and knitted Dick a beautiful sweater. Was that the one named PITA? We kidded him not to walk too close to a fire plug when wearing his sweater, as one arm would most likely raise. My other memory was that I stayed in Germany at a small hotel that Dick recommended, and the toilet paper was so hard, I wrote him a letter on it. He will be missed. Our prayers to the family. John Nieburg and Becky Parks.
