To my precious family;
Daddy was one of the most precious fathers a child could have. When you walked into the room his eyes would twinkle and you knew he was glad to see you. And that laugh it was the most wonderful laugh ever. When he laughed it was with everything he had. Can remember all the fun times at the gas station on 17th and going to the St. Louis Cardinal game with him. When he came to our house in St. Louis it was such a fun time. Many special memories were made with him and mother. Our hearts are sad, but I know he is no longer suffering. And he is in heaven rejoicing and DADDY IS TEACHING THE ANGELS HOW TO SING. I love you daddy and you will always have a special place in my heart.

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Junior. I have happy memories of playing baseball with my cousins. Once Uncle Junior told me to "choke up on the bat". After coughing on it I learned what that really meant and he never let me live it down.
Aunt Dorothy, Terry, Diane, Sharon, Cheryl, Vicky and Kim I wish you peace and love. Judi

I grew up in the neighborhood. From getting bike flats fixed, buying lawn mower gas, gettting a soda pop in a glass bottle, to keeping my cars running and safe, Russ was always someone you could count on. After he left 17th and State, I followed Russ around town knowing I could trust him as a good and fair mechanic. RIP

My deepest condolences to the family. I remember Russ very fondly. He had a great sense of humor and always went out of his way to help and share his expertise as a mechanic.
