So sorry to hear that Sox has passed on. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. I will miss getting the phone calls to the credit union and our little chats. He was such a kind man.

Thank you for loving the game enough to share it with the next generation. I pitched for twenty some years and owe most of what I know about throwing a softball to you but more importantly, you taught me that competitors could be friends. Till we meet again, save a spot for me on the bench next to you up there.

My sweet uncle Sox, you are one of a kind. You will truly be missed. You are such a sweet, loving, gentle and kind person. Whenever I was around you I always knew you genuinely cared about me. You always had a twinkle and a tear in those beautiful blue eyes, those eyes that reminded me of grandpa. I loved all the stories you used to tell us. You had a fantastic memory and paid attention to each detail. You will be missed. Thanks for making everyone around you feel a little more special. ;)

So sorry to hear of his passing. He was a great guy and I remember well watching him on the ward softball team. Good times!
