Sam is one of the finest human beings I ever met.Always positive, polite, and eager to help. I still remember my first ever bussiness trip we took together when I was at Davidson Optronics in 1984.
Sam I feel privileged to have met you.
Sam, You will always live in our hearts and prayers and greatly missed. The Drake Family (Bill, Kathy & Christopher).
Regrettably, I was not able to be at the last two meetings. I always have appreciated the work you have done to bring us together. I hope that I can make it to the Riverside Cemetery to than you personally. May God bless and take good care of you. We all will miss your presence.
Sam will be missed by all of us, but thank God for the wonderful memories he left with us.I know he's already planning the next one for all our ol' SF friends up above.Great to have known you Sam...thanx for the memories! And to the family, my prayers are with you...Dave Felix
Sam's family and friends will be in our divine chaplet everyday. Sam had a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed. Jo Vargo and family
The Tellas families of Indiana wish to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Sam. Thinking of you in your time of sorrow. May you find comfort in the many good memories of Sam.
Our hearts go out to the family. God is a refuge to those that are broken at heart.
Sam and our families went way back to St. Hyacinth Academy in San Jacinto, our grammar school, his parents and mine donating their time and money to help the school succeed. And of course Sam stood out for his humor, looks and a friend. So yrs. later we meet again at the St. Francis reunions. I am so glad I rode with Sam to Laughlin in 2011. I spoke with him on the phone a week before he passed. We said our goodbyes. My sympathy to his children and grandchildren, Glen Ellen and Barbara. Sam will be missed and always remembered for his great deeds. May he rest in peace, no more pain.
I am so sad to hear of your loved ones passing. Rest assured that God loves you and one day you will be united with your loved one again in paradise.

For Sam's Family and Friends:
Seek for the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while HE is near, for He will come quickly, for His reward is with Him to give to whomever He will according as your work shall be; He says, I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the First and the Last.

I can see Sam so clearly in his St. Francis De Sales letterman jacket, he was so cool! Seems strange now that we are old folk we still see those days as though they were yesterday and just as clearly. He was a great guy and I wish I had made it to a recent reunion to visit with him. My best to his family. Love Catherine Barragy Hedrick
