My father Charlie was a truly special man, a devoted father and grandfather, loving husband and partner for 54 years and his smile and his keen sense of humor could light up any room. He was a man of true honor and integrity, offering support to anyone in need, at any time, and gave generously of his time to help his local community.
“Papa Charlie” was always the same way with his grandchildren that I remember him being with me as my father; Loving, smiling, and cracking jokes. That sharp wit and deep laugh are forever part of those of us who he loved and were loved by him
There wasn't a day gone by that he didn't live his life to the fullest. Whether it gardening, meeting with friends, or spending hours on Skype playing with his grandchildren Ava Grace and Sven Charles each and every day for the past 3yrs, he was devoted to spending time with those he loved most.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He will live on always in the hearts of those he loved and whose lives he touched but most of all in the smiles and laughter of his grandchildren.
RIP Papa/Daddy xo
