Leonard taught drawing at CSULB with the OLLIE program. I was so fortunate to take several of his classes. He was such a patient man, and encouraging to all his students. He will be missed!

Len was a kind and gentle man. We sailed with him and he came to our Christmas parties over many years. The world is a better place for having had him. He will be missed.

Leonard was a long time member of the Long Beach Coin Club and will be missed by the membership. He donated his time to the club in many ways and was always quick with a friendly joke or jester. My wife Marcela and I always sat at the same table during club meetings and we always had a friendly conversation. My wife and I were shocked at his passing and will miss him, as will the Long Beach Coin Club membership.

The world has lost one of the finest men I have ever met. Len took my husband Malcolm for his last sail on his other boat,[name?] on July 6, 2003. It was a birthday sail with Len, Bernie Cutler, Jack Epstein, Malcolm, and myself; and when we arrived back at the dock, we celebrated with chocolate cake and champagne. I met Len when he became a member of the Wind 'n Sea Sailing Club and had many great conversations with him both on the water and at the various Wind 'n Sea parties throughout the years. As all who knew him know, Len had a great wit and always a twinkle in his eye. He will be sorely missed! RIP Len.
