I have just come across this and it saddens me that I did not keep in touch with him. Mike was my 3rd cousin and I spent a wonderful couple of weeks with him and his family back in 1976. I still remember meeting him for the first time several years earlier when he came to look for my mother, Domenica Lombardo, his cousin. He was the big hearted American, driving a huge Lincoln, that needed to know his roots.

The time I spent with him, with his wife Eleanor, son David, daughters Pat and "Mimi" and especially grandson Scotty. Mike had a terrific and loving family and is still lovingly remembered today by someone who, unfortunately, lost track of him.

May you rest peacefully in God's arms Mike.

Your cousin,
T. Salvatore Belardo

Not only one of the greatest generation - one of Concord's greatest men! Mike was the heart and soul of Concord for as many years as I can remember growing up. It was my pleasure to have known both he and Jeanne when growing up in Concord.

My deepest sympathy to his children and grandchildren and great grandchildren. What a legacy he leaves! And how fortunate you were to have him in your lives for so long. May your tears dry as memories bring smiles to your.
