Jos was my mom's college chum as they affectionately referred to each other. My sisters and I simply adored her and it was beautiful to hear her chatter gleefully about what one or the other niece or nephew was up to. I am pleased that I was able to visit her at Acton and that we shared memories. Much love to all of you. So sorry to be writing this at this late date, I hope it reaches you. ~Emily Hess (daughter of Marjorie (Ahlberg) Hess Henry who we lost in 2011) Honestly she absolutely loved Jos.

I was blessed to have Mrs. Joslin as my fifth grade teacher. She was a kind and extremely creative teacher who made such an impact on my life. Because of her, I went into teaching and we both taught for the Acton-Boxborough Regional School District in the 1980s. Our paths crossed throughout the years as she and my "Auntie Joan" Turner (kindergarten teacher in Acton) were close friends. She touched so many lives. ~Amy (D'Agostine) Bicchieri

Nancy and I met as colleagues at the Merriam School. We became very good friends and enjoyed many good times together over the years. Nancy was a fine person with a delightful sense of humor,as well as an excellent dedicated teacher. I greatly valued our friendship.
