Kenny Beau & Family

I can't believe a year has gone by already since Jack's passing. Ken I haven't seen you to tell you what a great letter that was to your Bro. It is funny how sometimes we think we know someone, but we don't. I love Jack and will always keep him in my memories!

Thinking of you Brother!

To the Baumeister Family,
My heart felt sympathy goes out to all of you in your beautiful family for the loss of Jack. Jack was a strong hold in my husband's life for several years, a great friend to both of us. He came to dinner when our boys were little, and often called to say hi and to check on our little warriors. He was a gentle soul, strong and steadfast in his beliefs; his marine-style forthrightness and disciplined approach to life was greatly admired by us and those that knew him. He walked a lot, and spoke eloquently about living a good, honest life and staying strong in the face of adversity. I had only spoken to him a few times in the past few years, and wish now that I had seen more of him. God Bless you, Jack! You were a true warrior of integrity, discipline, decency and friendship. May you be in Heaven now, walking with God. Love, Helen Donovan

I loved and respected my teacher, my friend. I did not get to say goodbye until today.. Jack made me laugh while learning to be sober. He was always kind to me and I feel so honored and so blessed to be one of his "hard chargers". I will miss the sound of his voice, his laugh, and the way I was made to feel valued by him. His pearls of recovery wisdom and his big bear hugs were the best. I will always miss him and always love my friend, Jack "the marine".
