I met George in the early 70's when I became his sister-in-law, but he and Judith became my lifelong friends, even when I no longer shared their name. I have mad respect and admiration for George; the world has lost a good one.

We will remember George who was a long time friend and coworker at General Radio / GenRad.
Our paths crossed again when we both worked at IBM. In the many years since I always enjoyed getting together for a lunch or such to discuss the changing times. With all our regards to the family, Ray, Arlene, and the Smith family

George was my first manager when I moved to the US as a new college graduate in 1978. I have fond memories of him shepherding me through that transition from college to work, from Germany to US. I have not had any contact with George in many years, but think of him every so often when an online security question asks "who was your first manager?"
Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family,
Anna Coffman
