I was sad to read about Raleigh's passing. My condolences to you and your family, RD. I met Raleigh in the library where I am a librarian in Colorado. He attended my programs on how to write and reply to email. I remember fondly all of the times I helped him with his email and encouraging him--"you can do it!" I always enjoyed talking to him in the library, whether I was helping him on the computer, or hearing about his life. He was such a kind, gentle man. He was, and will always be, one of my favorite people who I've had the pleasure of meeting.

To this day I wear my sweaters only on my arms. He was right it's comfortable and warmer. It was truly a pleasure to have met him. His wonderful family and of course Casey and Cali.

Just wanted to echo what Pat and Rick Dalton said. Uncle Raleigh was one of our favorite uncles. Visiting him and Elaine was always a highlight of the summer. He had a warm heart, a great sense of humor, seemingly endless patience (at least as far as rambunctious nieces were concerned), and a quiet strength that I always admired. I feel so lucky to have had him in my life. I wish my husband and children had more of a chance to have known him. Julie Quinn, and family

I was so Said when I hear about your call from Rick. Raleigh was one of my favorite uncles. I always think of him when I have ice cream. If he came to visit he always want to take us out for some and when we visited him and Aunt Elaine it was one of the first things he always offered us kids. He was a wonderful and kind man. He will be missed. Love Patty and Rick
